Presidency Set to Move Against ‘Moles’ in Security Agencies

“Moles” in the defence and security agencies, the Nigerian presidency believes, are behind the recent scandals involving the seizure of money meant for purchase of arms and ammunition in South Africa.

At first $9.3million was allegedly seized by the South African authorities; the next one was $5.7million.

Internal quarrels among security chiefs (over money, of course) are believed to have thrown up moles sabotaging President Goodluck Jonathan’s government.

Sanitisation of the security agencies may lead to the retirement and sack of suspected “moles”, it was gathered.

Several names have been penciled in already.
