During the governorship campaigns, PDP candidate Ayo Fayose reported that his wife had seen a vision of him being sworn in on October 16, the same date he was removed by impeachment eight years ago. Governor Kayode Fayemi of APC taunted him, saying his wife could have eaten too much amala after which she had a dream.
As it has turned out, Fayose’s wife’s prohecy will come true on Oct. 16, 2014. In the governorship contest held on June 21, the PDP candidate defeated incumbent governor Fayemi. Fayemi will hand over to Fayose on Oct. 16.
