United States military officials Thursday evening admitted that a non-nuclear bomb nicknamed “Mother of all bombs” was dropped on Afghanistan.
Agency reports say the target of the strike was ISIS tunnels and extremists in the Achin district of Nangarhar province.
First developed during the war on Iraq, 26 years ago, “Mother of all bombs” was not used until Thursday.
The news has shocked many who do not wish to see another world war.
