In Nigeria, it’s one week one big trouble. Yesterday, terrorists struck at Mubi, Adamawa State, killing as many as 30 and wounding over 50, according to eyewitnesses.
Last week, gunmen killed dozens too and wounded many more at a village in Kaduna State.
Penultimate week, terrorists murdered two Catholic priests and 17 worshippers when they attacked a church during an early morning Holy Mass at a village in Benue State.
The first suicide bomb attack on Mubi Tuesday happened as worshippers were going to the mosque for prayers. The second attacker exploded his wares 10 minutes later at a second-hand clothing market, about 20 meters away from the mosque. Both occurred before 2pm.
Nigeria has kept bleeding so frequently that many now regard it as normal. Security agents appear helpless.
